Norm Wain, President of SCI
General Counsel, Chief of Business Affairs, USA Track & Field
General Counsel/Chief of Business Affairs Norman Wain arrived at USA Track & Field in July of 2010. Wain oversees the USATF legal department (negotiating all contracts, managing corporate governance, handling anti-doping matters, overseeing litigation, managing the Athlete Representative program, etc). The legal department works with USATF staff and Board of Directors, the Law and Legislation Committee, the Ethics Committee and various other committees and constituencies to advance the goals and initiatives of the organization and protect its general legal interests.

Kyle Fairchild, Board Member
Horizon League, Assistant Commissioner—Governance & Compliance
Kyle Fairchild joined the Horizon League in October 2013 and currently serves as Assistant Commissioner for Governance and Compliance where he oversees governance, compliance and legal issues for the Horizon League. His responsibilities include overseeing the governance cabinet, co-leading the student-athlete development cabinet, managing the League’s Faculty Athletic Representatives Advisory Group and compliance coordinators peer group, and serving as the staff liaison for cross country, indoor and outdoor track and field, and tennis.
Fairchild earned a juris doctor degree from Indiana University’s Robert H. McKinney School of law in 2012 and his bachelor’s degree in 2008 from Xavier University, majoring in finance.

Kerry Vick, Board Member

Kerry Vick joined the Indians in 2000 and has spent his career lending a hand in almost all facets of the business, while leading teams in tickets, suite holder sales & services, and premium hospitality. Kerry built Victory Field’s special events business in 2012, and relaunched the stadium in 2020 as a year round event center after redesigning the suite level and premium seating program through multi-phase renovations.
A Ball State graduate and member of the ALSD’s Board of Advisors, Kerry also heads up the club’s learning management program, chairs their fun committee, and enjoys the daily challenge of modernizing an aging, yet award-winning, Victory Field.

McKenze Rogers, Board Member
Account Supervisor for Caldwell VanRiper
McKenze has 14 years of experience in marketing, communications, advertising, sales and public relations. Starting in sports and event marketing with USA Track & Field and the 2012 Super Bowl Host Committee, McKenze dove into fast-paced, B2C, nationally-scaled campaign work. Managing the Indianapolis Star’s healthcare sales, she gained insight into patient-centered healthcare marketing. Respecting regulated industries’ best marketing practices and B2B sales cycles comes from serving as Cook Regentec’s marketing manager as well as Williams Randall Marketing’s Director of Client Development and lead strategist for Indianapolis Power & Light.
McKenze attended Standard University and holds a Masters in Public Relations from Indiana University. She volunteers as the Indiana co-chair for Stanford’s Outreach Volunteer Alumni Link organization – helping complete and schedule hundreds of prospective Stanford student interviews (for seniors in high school). She also volunteers and leads the communications and marketing committee for Executive Women in Healthcare in Indianapolis.

Joel Tragesser is a partner in the Intellectual Property Practice Group and a member of the Corporate Venturing Team. He practices in the areas of trademark law and brand management, intellectual property licensing, and business & intellectual property litigation. His work includes prosecuting trademark applications in the United States and foreign countries, drafting software licenses and litigating infringement, false advertising, unfair competition and business disputes. Joel represents clients in state and federal courts and often speaks on the interrelation of technology and intellectual property.
